Terms of Service

Welcome to MyStories. Your use of the App is subject to the terms set out below. By using the service, you agree to these terms.

1. Service Description

The App provides an interactive AI bedtime-story experience: the AI co-creates a story with the listener through a live voice conversation, and saves the story so it can be continued later. The service is intended for entertainment purposes only.

2. User Account & Children

• Accounts must be created and managed by an adult. The App is intended for children to use together with a parent or guardian.
• You must provide accurate information when registering and keep your login credentials confidential.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any unlawful or harmful purpose.
• Attempt to elicit content that is inappropriate for the intended child audience.
• Attempt to disrupt, hack, or place an unreasonable load on the service.

4. Content and Intellectual Property

The stories generated are created collaboratively. We grant you a personal, non-commercial right to enjoy the stories you create. You grant us a limited license to process your spoken responses and choices solely to provide the service (including sending them to AI providers for real-time processing).

5. Third-Party Services

The service relies on external providers (OpenAI, Supabase, Google, Cloudflare). Your use is also subject to their respective terms of service.

6. Limitation of Liability

The service is provided "AS IS" without warranty of any kind. AI-generated stories may occasionally be unexpected; adult supervision is advised. We are not responsible for transcription accuracy, voice quality, or continuous service availability. Use is at your own risk.

7. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the service at any time, particularly in the event of a breach of these terms.

8. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
