MyStories ("the App", "we", "us") is an interactive AI bedtime-story service. This document explains what information we collect, how we use it, and how it is stored and protected.

1. Information We Collect

• Account information: When you sign up, we collect your email address. When you sign in with Google, we also receive your name, email address, and profile picture, subject to the permissions you grant.
• Content you provide: The choices, spoken responses, and stories you create together with the AI storyteller, saved so you can continue them later.
• Technical usage data: Basic information required to operate the service (such as session identifiers).

2. How We Use Information

• To authenticate your identity and enable account login.
• To run the live, AI-powered interactive storytelling experience (voice in, voice out).
• To save your stories so they can be listed and continued.

3. Children's Use

The App is designed for children to enjoy together with a parent or guardian. Accounts are created and managed by an adult. We ask that a responsible adult set up the account and supervise use. Saved stories are tied to the adult's account and visible only to that account.

4. Third-Party Services

We rely on the following providers to operate the service:

• Supabase — user authentication and data storage. Supabase Privacy Policy.
• OpenAI — live voice transcription and speech generation. Your spoken audio and text are sent to OpenAI for real-time processing. OpenAI Privacy Policy.
• Cloudflare — hosting and content delivery.
• Google — optional sign-in via your Google account.

5. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain your information for as long as your account is active. You may delete individual saved stories from within the App, or request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us at the address below.

6. Security

API keys and secrets are stored server-side only and are never exposed in the browser. Access to data is restricted to your own account through authorization mechanisms (Row-Level Security).

7. Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your information. For any such request, please contact us.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised update date.
